Leica DM500 B Manuel D’Utilisation

1.  Rotate the nosepiece (using the knurled 

nosepiece ring) to move the lowest magni-
fication objective into working position.

2.  Raise the stage by rotating the coarse 

adjustment knob to its positive stop at the 
highest position.

3.  Look into the eyepieces and adjust the illu-

mination intensity so that it is comfortable 
for viewing. 

 

The Leica DM500 or DM500 B microscope 
stand has been factory-adjusted so that 

the stage focus can be found within 1.5 rotations 
of the fine focus adjustment from this position.

4.  Using the fine adjustment knob, bring the 

specimen into sharp focus.
