   Slide the battery cover off in 

the direction indicated

  Lay  the  ribbon  across  the 

battery  compartment  (this 
will assist with removing the 
batteries when exhausted).

c

   Fit 6 x AA batteries, 

observing  polarity 
as shown.

d

   Slide the battery cover back 

into position on the radio.
