To display the shooting menu, press 

G and select Shooting.

The shooting menu contains the following options:

Reset shooting options to 
default values.

Choose a creative mode.

Creative Palette

Choose from Active Selection 
and Smart Photo Selector.

Active Selection

Choose how the camera sets 
shutter speed and aperture in 
Motion Snapshot mode (

0 64) 

and when Active Selection is 
chosen in best moment 
capture mode (

0 54).

Scene auto selector

Choose a file format and 
compression ratio.

JPEG fine

Choose a size for new photos.

Choose the frames Active 
Selection (

0 54) records to 

temporary storage, the length 
of time over which the frames 
are captured, and the default 
number of frames saved.

On release, record: 

Preceding and following

Capture 10 frames over:
