Introduction
Finalization (FINALIZE)
Finalization is the final processing of a CD-R/RW to make it playable on the CD player*1 of this system and other
CD-R/RW compatible players.

CD-R ......... The finalized disc can be played on the CD player of this system as well as other CD players*2. As the disc
becomes identical to ordinary CD, additional recording is not available any more.
CD-RW ..... The finalized disc can be played on the CD player of this system as well as other CD-RW compatible
players*3. Additional recording and erasure are basically impossible like the CD-R, but the disc can be
returned to the status before finalization when it is unfinalized (

A CD-R/RW can accept recording of up to 99 tracks. More than 99 tracks cannot be recorded even when the disc still
