The DV-SP1000/DV-SP1000E’s remote controller can
learn individual commands from other component’s
remote controllers and then be used to control those
components. Commands can be learnt by the dedicated
leaning buttons—[L1], [L2], [L3], and [L4]—or any but-
ton. Each button can learn up to four commands, one for
each remote controller mode: DVD, Amp, VCR, and TV.
If you’ve entered a control code for a component
(page 86) and certain buttons don’t work as expected,
you can also use this function to program those buttons
