A
SW
Lights up when the audio signal is output from 
the SUBWOOFER jack.
Dolby Pro Logic indicators
Lights up one of the respective indicators when 
the receiver performs Dolby Pro Logic 
processing. This matrix surround decoding 
technology can enhance input signals.

Input indicators
Light up to indicate the current input.
ANALOG
Lights up when 
– no digital signal is being input.
– INPUT MODE is set to “ANALOG”.
– the “A. DIRECT” is being selected.
HDMI
The receiver recognizes a component connected 
via an HDMI IN jack.
COAX
Lights up when digital signal is input through the 
COAXIAL jack (page 103).
OPT
Lights up when digital signal is input through the 
OPTICAL jack (page 103).
ARC
Lights up when TV input is selected and the 
Audio Return Channel (ARC) signals are 
detected.

Dolby Digital Surround indicators
Lights up one of the respective indicators when 
the receiver is decoding the corresponding 
Dolby Digital format signals.

Lights up one of the respective indicators when 
the receiver is decoding the corresponding

Lights up when surround back speakers 
selection is set to “BI-AMP” (page 106).
