Q
is a ratio of the center frequency divided by the bandwidth. A Q
setting of 0.5 is a wide band of boost or cut, where a setting of 3 is a
narrow band of boost or cut. A setting of 0.25 is even narrower and is
typically used for notching a small frequency due to reduce noise.
