These icons appear in the top row of your display:

When neither of these icons appear, letters typed 
are lowercase.

Note: Your handset automatically makes the first 

letter of a sentence uppercase.

 to insert punctuation. One of eight basic 

punctuation symbols will be inserted (. , - ’ @ : ? ;).

Press 

0

 to change the inserted punctuation 

symbol to another of the eight basic punctuation 
symbols.

Note: Additional punctuation symbols are 

available in Symbols mode.

1 Select Numeric as your text input mode.
2 Press the number buttons on your keypad to 

enter numbers.

1 Select Symbols as your text input mode.

A row of 32 symbols appears along the bottom of 
the handset’s display. Scroll right to view the 
complete row.

2 Scroll left or right to choose the symbol you want 

to enter.

3 Press
