Ground Lead To a clean, bare metallic part of the car chassis.
Battery Lead To the car battery, continuous +12 V DC.
Fuse (15 A)  Refer fuse replacement to your nearest authorized Panasonic 
Servicenter. Do not try fuse replacement by yourself.

Cautions

This unit is designed for use in a car having a 12 V negative ground battery system.
¡
To prevent damage to the unit, be sure to follow the connection diagram below.
¡
Strip about 5 mm of the lead ends for connection.
¡
Do not insert the power connector into the unit until the wiring is completed.
¡
Be sure to insulate any exposed wires to prevent short circuiting with the car chassis.  Bundle all
cables, and prevent cable terminals from touching any metal parts.
¡
Remember, if your car has drive computer or a navigation computer, the data of its memory may be
erased when the battery terminals are disconnected.
Electrical Connections
