Not enough weight in the weight tray.

Ground is too hard.

Ground speed is too fast.

Aerator is set too high.

Tines are worn or bent.

Tines are incorrectly installed.

Obstacles are entangled in tines and/or rotor.

Tractor has insufficient power.

Add weight to the weight tray.

Irrigate field or wait for a rain.

Decrease ground speed.

Remove one or more cylinder stops.

Replace tines.

Check placement of tine cutting edge. 

Clear rotor and/or tines of obstacles.

Shift to a lower gear and Increase tractor rpm.

Soil is too wet.

Rotor is plugged with trash.

Tines are worn or bent.

Tines are incorrectly installed.

Tractor speed is too fast.

Wait until soil dries.

Remove trash from rotor.

Replace tines.

Install tines correctly.

Decrease tractor speed.

Obstacles are entangled in tines and/or rotor. 

Rotor is plugged with trash.

Clear rotor and/or tines of obstacles.

Remove trash from rotor.

Obstacles are entangled in tines and/or rotor. 

Tines are not installed correctly.

Clear rotor and/or tines.

Install tines correctly.

Making too sharp a turn with tines in the 
ground.

Hit a solid object.

Raise Aerator out of the ground to make sharp 
turns.

Avoid hitting solid objects.

Operating Aerator over concrete, asphalt, tree 
stumps, rocks, curbs & other solid objects.

Too much weight in the weight tray.

Do not operate Aerator over solid objects.

AR2596: Added weight not to exceed 2,220 lbs.
AR2510: Added weight not to exceed 2,960 lbs.

Tines are loose.

Tighten tines.
