The following descriptions and recommendations are intended for use with Cal Spas chemicals only. Many of 

these chemicals will be used with alternative sanitation systems as well.

Oxidizer Shock
Destroys

Iron Out
Helps prevent metals in 

water from staining spa. 

Use during start up.

Defense
Helps  prevent  minerals 

from 

damaging 

spa 

components.

Ph / Alkalinity Up
Raises pH and alkalinity 

levels in spa water.

Ph / Alkalinity Down
Raises pH and alkalinity 

levels in spa water.

Increaser
Helps  reduce  foaming  and 

corrosion  by  increasing 

hardness  levels  in  spa 

water.

Spa Brite
Helps  to  quickly  clear  up 

cloudy spa water.

Foam Gone
Quickly 

breaks 

up 

existing  foam  on  spa 

water.

Cleaner
Deep 

cleans 

filter 

cartridge.  Dissolves  scale 

and  removes  imbedded 

organic contaminants from 

filter cartridge fibers.

Enzyme Formula
Biodegrades  body  oils,  suntan  lotions, 

and organic contaminants in spa water. 

Do not on same day as adding Chlorine 

Granules.
