HP LTO Ultrium 5 tape drives have five LED indicators on the front panel:

Clean
Encryption

Please consult your HP Ultrium Tape Drive "Getting Started Guide" for more information on how to use
these LED indicators for ascertaining drive status and for help in troubleshooting your HP LTO Ultrium
tape drive.
