Settings for the Composer
 
Setting the Beat 
 
This setting determines the beat to be used when recording 
performance songs. 
 
1.
 
Press the [Utility] button.

Using the Menu [
] and [
] buttons, select 
“Beat.”

Press the Value [-] and [+] buttons to set the beat.

2/2, 0/4, 2/4, 3/4, 4/4, 5/4, 6/4, 7/4, 3/8, 6/8, 
9/8, 12/8
 
To return to the basic screen, press the [Utility] button.
 
* When recording your performance with playing Rhythm perfor-
mances or Automatic Accompaniment, the beat is set automati-
cally.
* You cannot change the beat of previously recorded songs. 
 
Silencing a Specific Track
 
You can temporarily silence sound of a specific track. This is 
referred to as “Track Mute.”

Press the [Utility] button. 
 
2.
 
Using the Menu [
] and [
] buttons, select 
“Tr. Mute” (Track Mute).
 
3.
 
Press the Value [-] and [+] buttons to select the 
track that you wish to mute.
 
From the left, these are “R (rhythm), A (accompaniment), 
B (bass), L (lower), U (upper), S (Solo) and C (control).”
 
What is a Track?
 
The AT-15’s Composer features seven tracks. The following 
types of performance are recorded to the tracks.

Press the [Rec] button.
 
The character changes to “–”, indicating that the track is 
muted.
 
5.
 
Once again press the [Rec] button, and muting 
will be canceled.
 
To return to the basic screen, press the [Utility] button.
