Specifies the maximum number of 
ELS commands that can be 
outstanding for a discovery.
Note: The discovery_threads 
parameter will default to a value of 
64 for private loop topologies 
regardless of the configured value. 
If there are multiple ports 
configured on the host the value of 
64 will only be used for those ports 
that are connected in a private 
loop topology. The configured 
value will be used for all other 
ports.
Note: On the VMware ESX Server 
only, range is 30 - 64. The default 
is erroneously set to 1. Set this 
parameter to a valid value. If you 
do not, when you change any 
parameter value, the following 
error message may be displayed: 
“Driver Parameter ‘discovery-
threads’ is not within the allowed 
range”
