The 78K series and 75X series in-circuit emulators can be upgraded to the level of the 78K/II series by replacing
their internal boards with an optional board.

Note that the upgraded in-circuit emulator requires an appropriate new control program.

built into the IE group 1 in-circuit

emulator).
