Motions and Gestures

Configure various motion and gestures features.

Palm Motion

Control the tablet by touching the screen with the palm of 
your hand.

1. From a Home screen, touch 

 Apps ➔  

Settings.

2. Touch Motions and gestures.

3. Touch the 

 ON/OFF button to turn Palm 

motion ON.

4. Touch Palm motion.

The following options are available:

• Capture screen: Capture the screen by swiping it from 

right to left or vice versa with the side of your hand. 

Touch the 

 ON/OFF button to turn it ON.

• Mute/pause: Pause playback by covering the screen 

with your hand. Touch the 

 ON/OFF button to 

turn it ON.

Accessories

To select the Audio output mode when using a car or desk 
dock:

  From a Home screen, touch   Apps ➔  

Settings 

➔ Accessories.

The following options display:

• Dock sound: Play sounds when inserting or removing 

the device from the dock.

• Audio output mode: Use the external dock speakers 

when the device is docked.

• Automatic unlock: Set this option If you are using a 

device cover and you want your device to unlock when 

you open the cover.
