Drivers are supplied for operating the hardware under Windows 98SE, 
Windows Millennium Edition, Windows 2000 and Windows XP. 
 

The TV application of PCTV Sat offers the following functions:

  Automatic channel search with station name recognition

  Pre-programmed transmitter list for commonly used satellites

  Multi-channel preview 

Œ

  Recording and playback in the digital MPEG 2 format 

Œ

  Timeshift - delayed recording and viewing of videos, which allows 

functions as quick motion, live-pause and blanking out commercial 
breaks.

  Watching TV on your PC 

 

This application is only available in Europe and offers the following 
functions:

  Teletext reception. 

Œ

  Unlimited cache memory, i.e. all receivable pages and sub-pages, even 

those from different channels, are stored in the cache. 

Œ

  Received teletext pages can be stored as .TXT- or .HTM files. 

Œ

  PCTV WebText is displayed in your Internet browser allowing you to 

navigate as if you were in the Internet including it's own search engine. 

 

The PCTV Assistant provides continual help during the functionality check 
of your computer system in association with PCTV Sat. All the relevant 
parameters for the smooth running, installation and functioning of your 
system are checked and stored. 
 

The PCTV Sat radio application offers the following functions:

  Storing data in the MPEG audio format 

 

PCTV Sat offers full support of the TWAIN interface. Hereby you have the 
possibility to capture still images in highest resolution directly from the TV 
program into an image processing program.
