The DataReceiver application is used to configure your PCTV Sat card 
for receiving Internet data by satellite and to receive data. 

You can also have an effect on which data you wish to receive by setting 
up data filters.  

For the use of the Internet connection via satellite the DataReceiver 
application has always to be active! 

To be able to make full use of the NDIS driver and the DataReceiver 
application, the following requirements must be satisfied: 

For transmitting data:

  You must either have an analogue modem connected to your computer or 

you must have an ISDN connection with an ISDN modem. 

Œ

  You need an account with an Internet provider. 

 
For receiving data: 
Œ

  Your satellite system must be installed 

Œ

  PCTV Sat must be installed on your computer 

Œ

  The satellite dish must have been aligned  

(e.g. for Astra: 19.2° east). 

Œ

  You must have access via an Internet Satellite Provider. 

You can obtain information on further system requirements and additional 
software tools from the appropriate provider, if necessary.
