There are two serial numbers on the Vanguard 6455 rear panel 
(see Figures 2-2 and 2-3):

• Software Serial Number: Indicates the version of software running in your 

unit.

• Hardware Serial Number: Indicates the version of hardware in your unit.

Refer to these serial numbers when contacting your Vanguard Managed Solutions 
Service Representatives.

On the Vanguard 6435, the serial numbers are underneath the unit.
