 Troubleshooting

Symptom Charts/Hard Drive - 18

 

Flashing? appears at 

startup in 5400/

120, 5400/180, or 

5400/200 with 1.6 

GB ATA hard drive (p/

n 661-1107), and 

may be corrected with 

restart.

1 Be sure system software is not corrupted. See the Software 

Troubleshooting document in the HW-SW Procedures topic 

under the Troubleshooting tab on the Service Source CD 

startup screen.

2 Remove the 1.6 GB ATA hard drive and look at the serial 

number on the bar code label. 

3 If serial number is within range XXX
