Figure 4 shows an example of mapping an XP LUN to a VMware server with multiple XP CV AE 

host agents:  
• 

An XP device on XP Port 1 should be mapped only to VMware HBA 1 

• 

An XP device on XP Port 2 should be mapped only to VMware HBA 2 

• 

The XP device on HBA 1 should be assigned as a RDM (raw device) directly to VM 1 

• 

The XP device on HBA 2 should be assigned as a RDM (raw device) directly to VM 2
