Connect the charger to a power source.

For MC9000-K battery charging, insert the battery into a spare battery charging slot and 
gently press down on the battery to ensure proper contact.

For MC9000-S battery charging use the Short Battery Adapter, see 

and gently press down on the battery to ensure proper contact.
