1. I cannot find the channel 
while I know it must be 
there.
The list is grouped.
Press the Yellow key,
select the None option.
The list is sorted.
Press the Blue key,
select the None option.
You are in the wrong list.
Press the Green key,
select the Current SAT or 
All channels list.
The channel is hidden
Unhide the channel.
2. The list shows no channel 
names.
The list is grouped.
If a selection has a + in 
front, press the i-key. 
Note that the selection 
opens.
Press the Yellow key,
select the None option.
Problem
Possible cause
What to do?
1. I cannot set a timer 
because I have no EPG.
The selected program 
supports no EPG.
Press the Yellow key, 
select a timer option.
Set the start and stop 
time manually.
The EPG settings are not 
correct.
Review the solutions in to 
solve an EPG problem.
2. I cannot find the 
programmed timers.

Press the EPG key.
Press the Green key.
Press the 
 key,
select the Timer option.
3. My VCR did not record 
the program.
You did not set the VCR 
itself.
Set your VCR itself also.
The VCR timer does not 
start your VCR, it only 
switches on the receiver 
so that you can record 
the program.

1. I cannot view or listen to a 
scrambled channel.
The CI-module/smartcard 
is not valid for the service.
Insert a valid CI-module/
smartcard correctly.
Contact your service 
provider.
The CI-module/smartcard 
is not correctly inserted.
Insert a valid CI-module/
smartcard correctly.
The EchoNAV software 
lost communication with 
the CI-module/smartcard.
Press the EXIT key 
directly followed by the 
slot number (1, 2 or 3).
Press the On/Standby 
key two times.
