The EchoNAV User Interface makes use of the MENU, OK and arrow keys on your Remote 
Control Unit (RCU) to navigate through the Installation setup menu which gives you access to 
the sub-menus. Each sub-menu allows you to customize the settings to match your 
installation. Note that the menu contains dynamic pages which means that options are or are 
not available depending on the selections you make. When the initial setup menu shows, you 
can customize;

The EchoNAV User Interface has various ways to navigate through the menus and functions. 
Some of the keys on the remote control unit give direct access to functions. Important keys 
are identified as EPG, colored keys, MENU, OK and EXIT. Other keys are multi-functional 
which means that their function can change with the selections you make.

Languages

■

To set the language you want to use in the menus.

■

To set the language for programs with bi-lingual audio.

■

To set the language for bi-lingual subtitled programs.

TV System

■

To set the (UHF) TV channel to which the receiver is 
connected.

■

To set the video format supported by your TV.

User profile

■

To set the screen size of the TV.

■

To set the view time for the InfoBanner.

■

To tell the receiver that it is connected to a Dolby Digital 
amplifier or not.

■

To tell the receiver that it is connected to a TV or monitor.

■

To select the standard or a personal background.

System setup

■

To set the installation type you use.

■

To select the Easy or Advanced installation mode.

■

To set the amount of LNBs you have installed.

■

To set the switch that controls the installation (if used).

■

To set the LNB type(s) you use.

■

To define the satellite you want to scan for the LNB.

- Check signal

■

To define a transponder of the selected satellite.

■

Wait for the Checking configuration to complete.

- Search channels

■

Wait for the search to complete.

Local time

■

To set the current date.

■

To set the current time.

NOTE

Unless otherwise specified; this note explains the navigation through the EchoNAV 
menus and functions.
1. Press the OK key:

-  to confirm and execute a selection;
-  to access the EchoNAV user menu;
-  to pull down the menu options.

2. Use the 

 keys to scroll up and down through the selectable items.

3. Use the 

 keys to scroll left and right through the selectable items.

4. Use the EXIT key to leave a menu or selection and return to live.
5. In a pull-down menu:

-  press the OK key to confirm the selection;
-  the yellow bar indicates the active selection;
-  the green page indicator shows when you can scroll to the next option.
