Connect either the SATA power cable or drive power cable to the tape 

drive (see 

). 

Connect one end of the SATA data cable to the tape drive (see

Connect the tape drive to the host server or workstation via the SATA-to-

USB adapter as follows:

Connect only one power cable to the drive; connecting 

both the SATA power cable and the drive power cable 

to the tape drive may damage the tape drive.
