Input a phone number at the Idle screen.

Press BOOK and 2 to display the Add to phonebook menu.

Select the phonebook type. The corresponding phonebook type list displays.

Highlight and select the existing entry that you want the phone number added to.

EDIT A N ENTRY  IN PHONE
The Select field screen displays. Select the phone number type for the entry and the Edit
Record screen displays with the number displayed in the selected number type field. Press
Softkey 1 (OK) or continue with the instructions provided in Personalizing Entries on page
111.

EDIT AN ENTRY IN SIM OR FDN
A message displays, “Entry name Overwrite?” Press Softkey 1 (Yes) to overwrite the entry
and the Edit Record screen displays with the number from the Idle screen in the phone
number field. Press Softkey 1 (OK) to save.

To edit an existing phonebook entry with a phone number or email address in message text.

Highlight the phone number or Email address.

Press MENU (Options Menu), 1, and 2 to display the Add to phonebook menu.

Select the phonebook type to add the number. Select Phone to add an Email address. The
corresponding phonebook type list displays.

Highlight and select the existing entry that you want the phone number or Email address
added to.

EDIT ENTRY IN PHONE
The Select field screen displays for a phone number. 
The Text type screen displays for an Email address. 

Select the field type and the Edit Record screen displays with the number or Email address
displayed in the selected number type field. Press Softkey 1 (OK) or continue with the
instructions provided in Personalizing Entries on page 111.
