To prepare the monitor for alternate mounting purposes:

1. Disconnect all cables.

2. On a nonabrasive surface

, place the monitor on a 51 mm/2.0 inch platform so that the

stand is parallel with the surface (Figure M.1).  Place the screen on a 51 mm/2.0 inch
platform so that the stand is parallel with the surface.

3. To release the cover, press the release button (Figure M.2).  Once the cover is released,

lift up and remove Stand Cover from the stand.

4. Remove the four screws connecting the stand to the monitor (Figure M.3).

5. Lift the stand up to release the bracket tabs and pull the stand off the monitor (Figure

M.4 and Figure M.5). The monitor is now ready for mounting in an alternate manner.

6. Reverse this process to reattach stand.

Use only VESA-compatible alternative mounting method (100 mm pitch).....

Handle with care when removing stand.
