The Recurrence setting indicates when the scheduled 
recording will take place or repeat. 
ONCE (No Repeat) - One time recording, specify a 
Time, Date, etc.  This event is deleted after the recording 
Can be set up to 30 days in advance only.
DAILY - The recording is repeated every day and the 
date setting is ignored.
WEEKLY -  The recording is repeated once each week 
on the day specified in the START time.
MON - FRI - Recording is repeated daily except on 
Saturday and Sunday.

Select a Recurrence option with the 5/6keys.

The RESULTS field will return the current status of the 
event: 
Done - Recording is finished.
OK - Event is ready and waiting to record.
Overlap - Two events overlap, needs editing. 
Changing Setup Options
Setup Menu
These are the Setup features for your recorder’s Audio 
and Video functions.  Press SETUP and navigate using 
the 5/6 keys.
Default setting: OFF
Dynamic Range Control, also called “Midnight Mode” 
reduces the difference between the low and high audio 
levels known as compression. Makes watching movies 
at low volume levels enjoyable.
Default setting : Off
Determines the audio format output by the Optical and 
Coaxial Digital Audio Output. When playing a Dolby 5.1 
soundtrack, leave the setting on RAW to output the 
encoded digital signal to a Digital Receiver with a Dolby 
5.1 Decoder. If your receiver is not capable of decoding 
a Dolby signal, use the PCM setting. 
When playing CDs, leave this setting at PCM to output a 
stereo signal on the Digital Output.

Audio / Video
DVDs usually feature Dolby 5.1 channel soundtracks, 
you need to downmix these movies with only a stereo TV 
or capable receiver. Stereo should be used for most TV 
and stereo equipment. The LT/RT option should be used 
with Dolby Pro Logic receivers.

By default, the Start times are set to the current time 
and recording length to one hour.

The next field to make an entry in is the START 
TIME, or when you would like to have the timer 
recording begin recording. Use the 5/6 keys to 
increase/decrease and  3/4 keys to navigate 
between fields.

The next field is to enter the length of time you wish 
to record for. Set hours and minutes here.

Press ENTER to add the entry to the schedule list 
when all parameters are set.
To exit the Schedule Screen, press SCHEDULE

To change or delete a recording schedule, press the 
SCHEDULE key to access the Schedule Screen. 
Use the 5/6to select the scheduled event to be 
edited and press ENTER.
