EPG key - to view the program list.

I-key - to get the detailed information.

Yellow key - to select a timer.

The 

 key gives access to the EPG menu, where you control the timers and view the 

information in the Electronic Program Guide. When you scroll, in time, through the program 
information, the EPG key brings you back to the current time.

When the EPG menu shows, with the colored keys, you can access the timers and the powerful 
tools for further organization of the EPG menu.

■

The 

 (Red) key gives access to the different modes: TV or Radio.

■

The 

 (Green) key gives, depending on the selected mode, access to the different lists: 

All channels, Current SAT or the created favorite lists.

■

The 

 (Yellow) key gives access to the different timers: None (default), VCR (Video Cassette 

Recorder), Reminder (receiver wake-up) or the Timer list (to review or delete the timers).

■

The 

 (Blue) key gives you the possibility to zoom in or out on the program information fields. 

You can set the zoom factor to: 5, 15, 30 minutes, 1 or 2 hours.

■

The 

 key gives, if available from the service provider, access to the detailed program 

information of the current selected program. Sometimes the information is not directly available, 
if necessary allow the receiver to collect the detailed program information.

■

The 

 (White) key gives you access to the EPG calendar where you can directly jump to 

another date.

NOTE

Most digital channels broadcast program data as an EPG. Digital channels that broadcast EPG 
offer you program information in advance for a certain period of time. The EPG information is 
not always available. Sometimes the service provider supplies only the program name, the now/
next information or sometimes nothing at all. EchoStar has no influence on this matter.

CAUTION

The VCR timer does not start or program your video recorder (VCR). You have to set the timer 
of your VCR also to the same time as on the receiver. Please refer to the user’s guide of your 
VCR how to record from a satellite receiver.
