If the InfoBanner shows the 

 icon, the 

 key gives access to the embedded teletext 

decoder.

NOTE

Sometimes the service provider does not offer teletext support. Then the teletext option will not 
show. Please note that EchoStar has no influence on this matter.

1. Press the 

 key.

2. Teletext shows.

1. At any page, press the EXIT 

key.

1. Press the numerical keys to 

choose a page number, or:

2. Press the

key to go 

up/down to an index page 
(200, 300, 400, etc.).

1. Press the 

 key two 

times.

2. If available, select another 

language.

1. Press the numerical keys to 

choose a page number, or:

2. Press the Page +/- key to 

view the cursor.

3. Press the Page +/- key to go 

to a selectable page.

4. Press the OK key, or:
5. Press one of color keys to 

go to the indicated page.

1. Press the numerical keys to 

choose a page number, or:

page number up or down, 
or:

3. Press one of color keys to 

go to the indicated page.

4. Sub-pages (1/2, 2/2) are 

automatically advanced.

1. Press the OK key to make 

the teletext pages 
transparent.

2. Note that live video appears 

behind the Teletext page.

1. If the subtitles are 

transmitted, select the 
applicable Teletext page.

2. Allow the receiver to collect 

the subtitles.

3. Note that the subtitles are 

show on top of the video.

4. At any time, press the EXIT 

key to return to the normal 
operation.

NOTE

Some Teletext pages are meant to be on top of live video, such as so called latest news flashes. 
When you access such a page, allow the receiver to collect the information. When the 
information is collected, the receiver returns automatically to live video with the news flash on 
top.

Press the 

 key.

Use the arrow keys to select the page.

Select teletext subtitling/ news flash.
