YEStablet 7375 User Guide—YESterm IP Terminal Emulation

•  Host Name/IP Address: If you have a local DNS or WINS server, you can type in the host network name.  

Otherwise, type in the IP address of the host. 

•  Port Number: Use the default of 23 unless directed to do otherwise by your network administrator.

•  Connection Name: This is the friendly name that will appear in the YESterm IP Administrator screen. 

•  Device Type:  Select one from the drop-down list.  The default 3477-FC works well for TN5250e emulation, 

unless you have special needs.  If you are adding a TN3270e session, you will see a choice of 3278/9 terminal 
types here. 

•  Device Name: If you are using named sessions, enter the session name here.
