Starting Pin
Using the starting pin should
only be attempted by advanced users! If you
have never used this method before, it is
recommended you get training from a
qualified person who is knowledgeable in
starting pin shaping!

The starting pin is placed in one of the threaded

Figure 19. Then swing the work into the

Lubrication
To insure easy movement when raising and
lowering spindle, occasionally apply a drop of
light oil on outside of spindle cartridge.
