• Note On and Off messages are of course transmitted when you play the keyboard. If you use the

), you can shift the Nord Lead 2X key-
board ± 2 octaves, giving you an effective keyboard range of 8 octaves.
• Notes can be received over the entire MIDI range. That is, when playing via MIDI you have access to
a pitch range wider than 10 octaves.

ted and received as Control Change messages. This can be used to record your actions on the front
