Pictures not displayed on 

television

• Choose correct video mode.

• Memory card contains no pictures. Replace 

memory card. Remove memory card to 

play back pictures from internal memory.

Nikon Transfer does not start 

when camera is connected

• Camera is off.

• Battery is exhausted.

• Audio video/USB cable is not correctly con-

nected.

• Camera is not recognized by the com-

puter.

• Computer is not set to launch Nikon 

Transfer automatically.

• If your computer is running Windows 2000 

Professional, camera cannot be connected 

to the computer.

Cannot transfer Pictmotion 

movies

Pictmotion movies cannot be transferred to 

Mac OS.

Pictures to be printed are not 

displayed

Memory card contains no pictures. Replace 

memory card. Remove memory card to print 

pictures from internal memory.

Cannot select paper size 

with camera

Paper size cannot be selected from the cam-

era if the printer does not support the page 

sizes used by the camera or the printer auto-

matically selects the page size. Use the 

printer to select page size.
