Interface Routing Box
The Interface Routing box allows you to specify RIP versions.
Accept RIP version
 controls the RIP versions that a RAC accepts.
You can enter:
1
 to accept version 1 packets only.
2
 to accept version 2 packets only.
1 and 2
 to accept version 1 and 2 packets.
Send RIP version
 controls the RIP versions that a RAC sends
over IP interfaces. You can choose:
1 to broadcast address
.
2 to multicast address
.
2 to broadcast address

IPX
This section describes how to configure the RAC for access by remote
nodes using the Internet Packet Exchange (IPX) protocol. IPX is the
network-layer communications protocol that Novell networks use to
deliver data packets. The RAC provides Novell dial-in connectivity and
routing.
To configure IPX:
1.
Create a RAC list and select the RACs you want to configure
(page 2-1).
2.
In the
Main
window, select IPX from the
Setup
 field.
The
IPX
 window appears (
). The
IPX
window uses only
the
Frame Type
 box.
Frame Type
 defines framing used for IPX
packets on the Ethernet interface.
