his chapter describes how to:

Change the definition of an existing modem for any RAC

Create a new modem definition or remove modem definitions
for RACs other than ISDN Primary Rate RACs

We recommend that you use the
Edit Modem
window (
change modem definitions (except WAN internal modems). However,

Changing Definitions for RACs with Asynchronous
Ports
Ports
To edit or create a new definition for RACs with asynchronous ports:
1.
From the
Async Ports
window click
Edit Port
to display the
Edit
Async Ports
window and choose the appropriate settings in the
Port Options
box.
2.
In the
Modem
box field
,
choose the modem whose definition you
want to edit, or choose
<undefined>
to create a new definition
from default values and click
Edit Modem
.
The
Edit Modem
window appears (
). It contains the
current values for the modem you selected.
