Replacing
the
slide-rail
assemblies
Complete
the
following
steps
to
replace
the
outer
and
inner
slide-rail
assemblies
for
the
monitor
and
keyboard
tray:
1.
Turn
off
the
monitor;
then,
disconnect
power
from
the
monitor.
2.
Disconnect
the
keyboard,
video,
and
mouse
connectors
from
the
server
or
console
switch.
3.
If
you
installed
a
console
switch
in
the
rear
of
the
rack
cabinet,
remove
the
console
switch
from
the
rack.
4.
Remove
the
screw
that
attaches
the
cable-management
arm
to
the
outer
slide-rail
bracket.
5.
Fully
extend
the
monitor
and
keyboard
tray
from
the
front
of
the
rack
cabinet;
then,
push
in
the
release
latch
on
each
side
of
the
tray
and
slide
the
monitor
