Load fewer postcards if jams occur. The number of postcards that can be loaded
varies with the thickness of the stock. Never fill the cassette beyond the load line.
Do not try to print on the back of postcards.
Postcard Precautions
If postcards are curled, straighten them so the width of the curl is within 2 mm
(fig. 6.4) and load the cards with the curled surface (convex) face down (fig. 6.5).

If postcards are curled after you print them, straighten them to under a 5 mm curl.
Curl over that amount may cause problems with postal code reading machines.
Reply postcards can be loaded in portrait or landscape orientation (fig. 6.6).

Some preprinted postcards, such as greeting cards, may be coated with a white
powder to prevent off-set. Repeat printing of these cards may lower the frictional
force of the printer’s feed roller causing incorrect feeding. If you use these types of
cards, lightly wipe the powder off both sides of the card using a dry lint-free cloth.
When printing a group of postcards, loosen the stack before loading to prevent
sticking which can cause misfeeds.
