PCL Menu

Sets the default configuration for the printer when printing PCL emulation jobs.

Description

Font Number

Sets the ID for the default font in PCL.
Values:

(default is 0)

These value numbers are assigned by the printer and should not 
be confused with the user-defined ID numbers associated with 
font downloading (creation).

To scroll quickly through the font values, hold down the 

Value Up

 

or 

Value Down

 key (labeled 3 and 7).

Pitch

Sets the pitch of the default font in PCL when the default font is a scalable 

fixed-pitch font.
Values:

 (default is 10.0)

The pitch changes incrementally by .01 each time you press either 
the 

Value Up

 or 

Value Down

 key (labeled 3 and 7). To scroll 

quickly through the pitch values, hold down either key.

Point Size

Sets the point size of the default font in PCL when the default font is a 

scalable proportional-spaced font.
Values:

 (default is 12.00)

The point size changes incrementally by .25 each time you press 
either the 

Value Up

 or 

Value Down

 key (labeled 3 and 7). Hold 

down either key to scroll quickly through the point sizes.
