Use ‘modify adsl line intf’ command to enable or disable the particular ADSL Subscriber services. 
 

Use this command to modify the ADSL service administration. 

#modify adsl line intf ifname <ifname> [enable | disable] 

ifname <ifname> 

This interface name of ADSL port 

Type: Mandatory 

Valid values: dsl-1 ~ dsl-48 

[enable | disable] 

Administrative status of the ADSL interface 

Type: optional 

Default values: disable 

 
Administrative status are exist in other service layers as well, control the administrative at the physical 
layer (ADSL Line interface) given the most benefit outcome, e.g. save power and CPU resource.
