Custom Picture Settings
NOTES
• About changing custom picture related settings using the optional
RC-V100 Remote Controller
- If a protected custom picture file or no custom picture file is selected
on the camcorder ([K X Select File] is set to [Off]), custom picture
related settings cannot be changed using the remote controller.
- While the remote controller is connected to the camcorder, custom
picture files on the SD card ([SD1] to [SD20]) cannot be used. If you
connect the remote controller while a custom picture file on the SD
card was selected, the custom picture file will change automatically
to [Off] (no custom picture file). To use the settings of a custom
picture file saved on the SD card, copy the file in advance from the
SD card to an open file slot in the camcorder (0 122).
- Adjusting custom picture related settings using the remote controller
will change the settings registered under the currently selected
custom picture file. If you want to keep an important custom picture
file, copy it in advance to the SD card or select in advance a custom
picture file you do not mind changing.
Editing a Custom Picture File’s Settings
1 After selecting a file, select [I X Edit File] and then press SET.
2 Select a setting and then press SET.
3 Change the setting to the desired level.
• Refer to the table Available Custom Picture Settings (0 123) for
details on the various settings.
• Repeat steps 2 and 3 for other settings, as necessary.
• To return the file to its default settings, select [Reset], select [OK] and
then press SET.
Preset Custom Picture Files
By default, the custom picture files in the camcorder in file slots [C7] to
[C9] are protected. Remove the protection (0 121) to edit the file. The
following describes when to use the preset files.
[C7 VIDEO.C]:  For playing back video on consumer flat-panel
displays.
[C8 CINE.V]:
For achieving a cinema-like picture on TV monitors,
such as when creating TV programs that require a
cinema-like effect.
[C9 CINE.F]:
When combined with [Cine 2] (under [Gamma]) and
[Cine 2] (under [Color Matrix]
 [Select]), creates a
cinema-like effect different from that of [C8 CINE.V].
