The fixing unit may not have been pushed 

in far enough. Take the following actions.

Turn OFF the printer, and disconnect the 

power cable and the LAN cable.

Remove the duplex unit and the rear 

cover.

Push in the fixing unit until a snap sound 

is heard.

Step 7 on page 7

If no snap sound is heard, remove the fixing 
unit and try attaching it again.

Use your thumbs to push on both sides 

of the fixing unit together, using the 

marks as a guide, with even pressure.
