7 ADVANCED MENU: Managing binding parameters
This menu enables you to set the parameters for milling and gluing the cover on the book.
4.7.1 Setting the carriage movement speed:
Automatic carriage movement speed.
Depending on the thickness of the book and the milling depth, the binder
automatically calculates the carriage movement speed.
Slow carriage movement.
Regardless of the thickness of the book, slow carriage movement enables
maximum notching of the spine, giving the best adhesion.
Press the icon to change from one speed to the other.
4.7.2 Setting the gluing temperature:
This icon enables you to set the gluing temperature.
The possible range, centred on the nominal temperature, is ± 15°C.
By default, the gluing temperature is set to 155°C.
Adjust to 170°C for glue Planatol HM9925 or 150°C for glue Relimelt F1.
The
icon at the bottom of the screen displays the gluing temperature
at all times (145°C in this example).
