Advanced Print Path Installation
Introduction
Xerox FreeFlow Print Manager-Advanced Print Path-is a software
application you can use to enter job ticket information for an existing
PDL file (RDO, ASCII, PS, TIFF, PCL, PDF files) and to submit the job to
an available printer. FreeFlow Print Manager-Advanced Print Path
enables Xerox-supported networks to take advantage of the many
printing options offered by Xerox-supported printing systems
application you can use to enter job ticket information for an existing
PDL file (RDO, ASCII, PS, TIFF, PCL, PDF files) and to submit the job to
an available printer. FreeFlow Print Manager-Advanced Print Path
enables Xerox-supported networks to take advantage of the many
printing options offered by Xerox-supported printing systems
Installation Information
•Requires a FF license. You will be provided with a license file or
receive a coupon to get a license file. The license file is a .dat file.
•Adobe Acrobat runs an automatic installation up to 9.3.2. The
customer will not need to manually enter any license information
for Adobe during its installation.

•The following Xerox applications are installed with FreeFlow Print
Manager-Advanced Print Path:
a. Printer Administration (with Printer Registration)
b. Tools (with Backup and Restore, FreeFlow Administration, Hot
Folders, and Status)

Installing FreeFlow Print Manager

Double-click Setup.exe to begin the installation process. Follow
the screen instructions to install the product.

If you do not have a license (.dat file) you will need to obtain a
license file. To do so, select Open Software Activation Portal.

Set up the printer list using the Printer Registration Tool. Click
Start > Programs > Xerox FreeFlow Software > Printer

the program is started.

Register (add) your printers through Printer Registration.

Test the installation by printing a document.
Backup and Restore

From the start menu select Programs > Xerox Freeflow > Tools >
Backup and Restore.

From the Backup and Restore window, select the Backup tab.

Browse to a location to store the backup file and select Backup.
A backup zip file will be stored in the designated location listed
according to the date.

Browse to the location of the stored backup file and select
