If the message was sent only to you, the name of the sender is followed by 
(privately) and then the message. For example, if John Smith sent a message 
only to you, you would see: John Smith (privately): Here is chat.

If you sent the message to only one person, your name is followed by (private 
to <name of person you are sending the message to>). For example, if you 
sent a message to only John Smith, you would see:
Your Name (private to John Smith): Here is chat.

If the message was sent only to

by (presenters) and then the message. For example, if John Smith sent a
