Cisco MeetingPlace for Notes System Manager’s Guide

To manually refresh the design of all your Notes databases:

1.  Go to the Domino console on the Domino server that the 

MeetingPlace for Notes gateway is connected to.

2.  Type load design, and then press Enter. 

The Domino server refreshes the design of all the databases. 
This process may take several minutes, depending on the 
number of users in the database.

Once you have completed the MeetingPlace for Notes 
installation, perform the following tests to make sure all the 
components are functioning correctly. 

Make sure the following Windows services are running:

MeetingPlace Agent Service

MeetingPlace for Notes Gateway

MeetingPlace Gateway SIM

MeetingPlace Notification Gateway

If these services are not running, start them. If you are unable 
to start the MeetingPlace for Notes Gateway service, make 
sure you have set up the MeetingPlace for Notes gateway 
account to use the new MeetingPlace mail template. Refer to 
the Post-Installation Steps section for more information. 

Check the Windows Event Viewer (Start | Programs | 

Administrative Tools | Event Viewer) for any errors relating 
to the MeetingPlace for Notes gateway.

Schedule a MeetingPlace meeting from Lotus Notes and 

invite one or two users to this meeting. Make sure the 
meeting is successfully scheduled and that the invited users 
receive an e-mail meeting notification.
