Q. When I try to join a meeting on Mac, I am asked to download and install an add-on. How do
I do that?
A. When you start or join a meeting on Mac for the first time, starting in WBS28.5, you are asked to
download and install an add-on.
1. Select the Download and Install Add-On button and download the Cisco_WebEx_Add-On.dmg
file to your computer.
2. Run the downloaded file:

On Chrome, you can select the downloaded file from the bar at the bottom of the browser.

On Safari, you can selected the downloaded file from the Downloads section.
o
On Firefox, you can either open the file directly or save it to a location of your choice.
After the file is opened, it may be hidden behind other open applications. Look for the following
window.
3. Run the Install Cisco WebEx Add-On.app and follow the instructions on the screen.
After the installation is complete, the meeting will start automatically.
