Determining the Software Version of Microsoft Outlook for Cisco Unified
MeetingPlace

You can determine the software version by using the Microsoft Outlook scheduling form.

Procedure

Step 1

Open your Microsoft Outlook calendar and double-click a time.

Step 2

Click the MeetingPlace tab.

Step 3

Click About.

The Microsoft Outlook for Cisco Unified MeetingPlace and Cisco Unified MeetingPlace Web
Conferencing versions are displayed in the About Cisco MeetingPlace for Microsoft Outlook window.

You can also determine the software version by going to the CLI and using the gwstatus command.

Procedure

Step 1

Telnet to the Cisco Unified MeetingPlace Audio Server system and log in as a technician.

Step 2

At the tech$ prompt, enter gwstatus.

The command output includes the version of Microsoft Outlook for Cisco Unified MeetingPlace (listed
as Outlook:GW).
