view of the content. Whether on the Windows, Mac, Linux, or Solaris platform, users can easily
participate in Web conferences and experience a consistent interface (Figure 4).

Across Platforms
Cisco Unified MeetingPlace Express provides innovative meeting management functions that
facilitate more productive meetings. From the Web interface, users can mute and unmute
themselves, see who is in the meeting and how they are participating (voice or Web), see who is
speaking, and see who is sharing content. Users with the appropriate permission level can mute
other attendees, control attendee sharing permission levels, and bring others into the meeting by
dialing out or sending e-mail invitations (Figure 5).
