Host only 

As host, your responsibilities include overall management of the meeting. The 
Event window provides a forum for you to manage all aspects of the meeting 
and enable participants to chat, send video, share information and interact 
with each other using documents, presentations, whiteboards, applications, 
and more. 

 

A host must be an authorized user

—that is, the host must have a user 

account. 

 

After an event starts, the host is initially the presenter. The host can then 
designate a panelist as the presenter. 

 

 

Invite or remind attendees and panelists to an 
event in progress 

From the Quick Start tab, select Invite and 
Remind, select your invite method, then 
enter the requested information. 

Edit a welcome message  

Select Event > Welcome Message.  

Edit the sound that plays when a participant 
enters or joins the event 

Right-click the Participants title and select 
Sound Alerts.
